The 1-to-1 Community
We learn from our mistakes and sometimes other people mistakes and it is seen as a strength in this academy which is why we share your mix analysis’s for other 1-to-1 Members. You can comment and add / receive constructive comments on your track analysis in the community.
There is no question “Stupid” don’t be afraid to join in. This is a community with a like-minded goal so if as a group we can help you reach that goal, then ask it! We all start at the bottom and work up!
The community is a place to learn, talk about your journey and discuss anything to do with the electronic music scene.
It is a place for constructive critism, questioning why something is right or wrong, “What If’s”, questioning and challenging other students decisions and “especially” your mentors.
Your mentor prefers you questioning their decisions, because as a chosen mentor they share the mindset that we are always learning and “nothing is ever 100% right”.
We come across a lot of people with dyslexia and various leaning varitations, we craft the course around each persons learning requirements with 1-to-1. We welcome you to be open and connect with other students who may be struggling with similar learning variations. Jason also wants to make this course as friendly to all the variations of learning so please talk about how we can help in the appropriate section or email us direct with how we can improve.
We don’t tolerate homophobia, racism or any kind of hate! This is an instant expulsion from the academy.
We don’t tolerate words like “SHIT”, it’s not constructive and is a personal opinion with doesn’t bring anything constructive to the discussion. A better choice maybe “I think the track lacks energy and the vocal is hidden behind everything” or “This style isn’t for me but I could see that a bigger kick may kick it more punch”.
